How many variations of 84 944 are there?(body). Mine has no opening thru the roof at all. I see some that have moonroof, sunroof etc..

Most 944's came with a sunroof, though a few were optioned without the sunroof. The sunroof delete cars are pretty rare.

 

Thats cool that it might be slightly rare but I'm much happier about not having leak, mechanical, or electrical issues to deal with...ha.I feel extremely lucky with my purchase of the 944.I got it for 2500, paint is torched up frontbut ok for now but the motor has had extensive documented repair and maintenence records including belts timing, balance h2o pump etc.. clutch is new.Not due for timing etc.. for at least another 25k. Car has 114k.
