I am currently lookin at a 1989 porsche 944 S2... The dealership claims the engine is a 3.0L but the carfax says its a 2.7L. I was under the assumption that all the S2's came with 3.0's am i correct...can anyone recommend a website for aftermarket parts?

 

The S2 is a 3.0L engine, the standard 944 from that year is a 2.7. The S2 has the turbo body styling and is DOHC with 16 valves, where as the 2.7L 944 NA has an 8v head, single cam, standard NA body styling.
