I have developed an adapter that allows mounting of a more common t3 style turbo for 944's. It uses a billet stainless adapter along with some welding and machining of the motor mount. I have done this to 2 cars now and have found nothing but good things from it. Clearances were greatly increased because I was able to slightly straighten and lower the turbo leaving lots of room for exhaust and a bigger turbine housing.
