i was wondering if somebody could tell me how to replace the alternator in a 1983 944, thankyou

 

Not too terribly difficult. Disconnect the battery, remove the airbox for room, remove the belt, remove the 2 bolts holding it in, remove the shroud off the back , disconnect the wires, installation is opposite of removal.
