Well, if anyone haswondered about the legitimacy of the Fantasy Bidding during Barrett-Jackson's West World event in Scottsdale AZ let me assure you - it is all above board.

During last night's show (01/16 Friday) I was the fastest Fantasy Bidder on Lot 970.2, a 1970 Dodge Challenger that sold for $75,000. I earned 121 points in the Fantasy Bid game and I will be awardeda 32GBiPod Touch!

It's free. You register with them, get a user ID and Password and then just watch the show on SpeedTV. There are about 20 cars during the auction called Fantasy Bid Cars and when they come across the block you guess what they will sell for. Fastest to guess the correct amount wins the iPod prize for that car. There's a daily winner also for most points accrued; that person wins a flat-screen HD TV. Then there's anauction winner for total points accrued who wins a trip. This year it was to NYC + tickets to The World Class Driving Experience. May have been some runner-up prizes in there also, Blu-Ray players I think.
