Default Coil Testing

No fire while cranking, but does fire once when cranking stops.

Test results
I get 12v both sides to grnd
Ohms are 6.3k Primary
And .9 Sec
(I think thats right, meter difficult to read)

Tested by removing green wire from neg on coil.
Removed plug to watch for spark
Clarks indicates that touching the jumper from the neg of the coil to a ground will cause a spark at the plug.

(I am not getting any spark. )

Is the above done correctly?
and does that indicate a bad coil?

Thanks

Default RE: Coil Testing

Nope new coil, same problem.

No spark while cranking, just single or double spark when cranking ends.
