Default Driving on a donut spare tire

I have a 1986 951 and am having my fuchs refinished, one wheel at a time. Each wheel will take about 1 week, so all four about 1 month. I am using my donut spare right now. I estimate that I am driving about 75 miles a week, so about 300 miles for the month. Is it safe to drive this amount on the donut, or should I get a fullsize? Also, will a fullsize tire fit on the donut rim?
