Default fender

well today after work some guy back into me and damaged my right fender, my 944 might have its problems but now it looks bad, the guy said he will pay for the repair, so i found out the fender is 545, i dont really feel like getting a use one plus he is paying, but i cant seem to find online how to change the fender, so that is why i come to you guys, any help will be greatly appreciated and how much will you think it will cost to take it to a repair shop?? just in case i feel lazy ^^ well thanks, man its gonna be a long day

If you are talking about the front fender, then there are the bolts on the top that you can see when you open the hood. Also there are 3 bolts to the rear of the tire in the fender well near the lower half. THese are covered in undercoating, and you will have to scrap to get to them. There may be one up front as well IIRC. It is easy to get off. A body shop will probably charge about 300 to paint it. If you don't have them pull the panel, and you pull it yourself and take it in, also take in a head light cover or fuel door so they can match the paint. I would guess a body shop will charge 1 hour to remove and 1 hour to replace the panel, though it doesnt take that long.
