Fluid overhaul...
Alright, I'm about to buy myself a 1983 944. The car has been sitting for about a year, but I checked it out and everything seems to be in order. However, upon purchase I want to flush the motor oil, the transmission oil, the engine coolant, and, eh, why not, the brake fluid just for the hell of it.
Of course, draining is easy enough, but what I'm wondering is what to use to replace all the lost fluids.
If you have recommended brands for these replacements, I'd really appreciate to know what you use.
Thanks.

RE: Fluid overhaul...
Coolant that is safe for aluminum engines. 20w-50 castrol oil. Any dot3 or 4 (not 5) brake fluid, though you will find most people use ATE super blue fluid (Brake and clutch system is all off the same reservoir), tranny oil mobil 1 or swepco or redline or amsoil. If the car has been sitting for a year, change the timing belt before you even think about turning the engine over.
