[sm=helpout.gif]Can anyone out there tell me if starter motors from other 944 models will fit and start a 1990 Porsche 944 S2 (3.0)?

Hi, I have now sorced a used starter motor from a 944 S2, but was told that the starter from any other model 944 will fit and start an S2. The starter motors have different part numbers and one is a smaller size than the other, but other than that, they are interchangeable.

I hope this helps anybody else who may be wondering the same. I'm off to fit mine......[sm=smiley36.gif]
