Default Interchangable body parts...Frankenporsche!

Can I get rid of that ugly rubber spoiler on my 83 944 and swap it with a nice raised spoiler from a later model 968? Would it bolt right up? Any suggestions?

The S2 hoop spoiler bolts up directly, but the 968 does not. It uses extra tabs at the base which are welded to the hatch frame. You can make it work if you have a welder, but it is easier just to buy the whole hatch. Good luck finding all the pieces for under $1k. You need not only the hoop spoiler, but the side trim pieces and the rubber gaskets underneath all the trim pieces.
