Can anyone let me know the size of the inlet and output for the stock muffler on an 86 951? I can't seem to find it anywhere. I want to make sure that I order the correct sized replacement.

I just ordered one for my 87 944, 2 1/4" inlet and outlet, overall length 24 inches, 18 inches on body of muffler. To be sure for you get a caliper and measure the diameter of yours where the exhaust pipe enters the muffler. You will have to cut the muffler off before installing a new one. Hope this helps some.

 

Stock exhaust on the turbo is 2.5"
