No power when car is cold

Recently my 1988.5 944 has developed low power and rough idling when the car is cold and just started. Runs just fine after it warms up. Any ideas where to look for this kind of problem?

Check the vacuum hose going to the idle air stabilizer. Mine was cracked there and caused a rough idle.

Also check your DME temp sensor.
