o2 sensor
I bought my '86 944n/a about 1 &1/2 years ago from a porsche mech. who said it had a chip in it. LaterIdiscoverd the oxygen sensor wasn't connected at all . it seems to run good and get good gas milage. So is there any reasonit should be disconnectedand is there any reason to reconnect it . thanks, cj44

Most chips run a default o2 code, thus not needing a O2 sensor. Some chips are different, but that , I believe, is the usual.
