I'm currently taking a look at this 944, its got about 50, 000 miles on it, new tires, and the timing belt changed just 6000 kilometers ago. He's willing to drop to $8500 CDN, or around $7500 USD. Is this overpriced for a pre '85 or is it justified by the low miles/new timing belt and tires?

I bought a 1987 non-turbo 944 with 50,100 miles and belt changed about 8,000 miles ago for $7200 in mid '05. It still has the original paint in pretty decent condition and interior in excellent shape. I'd say what you found is about in the ball park, except that maybe it can brought down a few hundred more, if not a $1000.

I'll try to push him down to 8 000 CDN... see if he'll bite at that... [&:]
