Default quick question 944!!!

hey guys im fairly new to the site(first post) and i have an 83' 944 and was wondering is there anyway i could set it up to have the 87 front bumper without many mods????

dont worry, about the looks right now, body work has just begun...

That is not an 87 specific bumper, it is a bumper specific to the 944 turbos and S2's. Using 944 turbo parts, you have to change the fenders, hood, header panel, headlight covers, and the bumper cover.

GT racing makes a replica that is suppose to bolt right on to the early cars.

The euro front turbo bumper cover does not have side markers.

The turbo/S2 bumper conversion? Sure it will be just fine. A euro turbo bumper though, does not have sidemarker lights on the bumper cover (they are behind the front wheels on the fender instead), so your local highway patrol inspection might have a problem with that. If you have access to a euro turbo bumper, it is worth a deal of money.

I run a euro front bumper on my turbo, but they are quite lax in Kansas about things like that.
