My 1986, 944 is a wonderful car with the exception one an annoying leak. Somewhere, rain water if finding it's way to the floor behind the fornt seats and I have no idea where it is entering. Does anyon ehave any thoguths?

ah yes
the ole " water on the floor " problem -
could be a couple of problems
- one really common problem is water leaking in from the area of the rear hatch where the frame is - or has - seperated from the frame -

another common problem is rust in the battery tray area - take the battery out and if you see rust holes do this repair -

also check the drain holes for the sun roof and the wiper motor area
