Default Rim help

Ok so the guy i bought my 944 from was a total dumbass. It looks like he clear coated the rims without even cleaning them first. I want to redo the clear coat and get all that **** of the rim. What should i do? Just sand it...then clear coat. im not sure so any help would be appreciated. Thanks

What type of rims are they? You are going to have to strip the rims, probably by sanding them, and then repaint. Wurth wheel paint is pretty good stuff.

They are the stock rims check the pic. the black parts are fine but the silver part looks a little worn. Also are the lugs and the center supposed to be silver too? Im not really sure beceasue when i got the car the wheels were totaly black with break dust.

Cookie cutters. Just sand and repaint. They should be all black, with the polished lip.

Thanks man. The paint on the lugs and center looks like it was sanded off before. Are you sure even the center cap is supposed to be black? Then you couldnt see the porsch symbol. Idk. Im thinking about keeping it polished and painting the symbol in color(suggestions?). And for the paint i should just use clear coat right? Thanks a million man.

No, you need to first use wheel paint, and then a clear coat on top if you would like. You can leave the center caps how ever you want them, but they came black from the factory.
