rims and tires for a 944 t
 
what the biggest set of rims and tires I can install on a 944 t without hurting anything, and does anyone have any suggustions of makes and models?

You can run up to 18" rims with up to 285 tires in the rear (with the correct spacers). Porsche does not recommend using larger than 17" rims though, and I think 18" rims are too much on a 944.

I think 18" rims look great on a 944, but if you are fitting wider rims tramlining will increase. You can help reduce this by fitting a anti-roll bar though.

Your right PorscheDoc, Porsche does notrecommend that you fit rims any larger than 17", but they then fitted 18" rims to the very limited edition 968 turbo. So they sort of contradicted themselves there![&:]
