Default Slave Cylinder Help

I was just out to replace the slave cylinder in my 944 and It didn't go so well. The new slave cylinder has a bleeder valve on the end of it, but in my car the metal hydraulic clutch line goes into the end. To get it in I would have to bend the metal line. Also the rod is connected to the slave cylinder on the new part but in my car the rod is threaded into the car. I checked a lot of product sites and they are all the same. Why don't any of the direct fit OEM parts fit my car? What am I missing?
