Default starting problem!

car has been eating starters, just replaced my starter with a bosch it was working fine then all the sudden i turned the key and nothing happend. then as i was turning the key back towards the off position i heard the starter engage for a moment. i tried starting it again and on the way back it did it again, so this time on the way back i held it there very briefly and it cranked over and started. I did this for about 1 month or so and one day it just quit working all together , so i went and got a new starter, bench tested it and it works just fine. i put it in and nothing at all. not even if i try to get it to start the way i had been doin it for the last month. pulled it out and tested it again on the bench all is good with the starter any ideas?

Default RE: starting problem!

Clean your terminals on the cables at the battery and starter to start with. If that doesn't help, then I would look at your ignition switch.
