Exclamation Stop-Tech brake lines and Koni Suspension

I am in the process of looking for Stop-Tech steel braided brake lines for my 86 944 N/A. I am also planning on putting Brembo sport cross-drilled rotors on as well with Wagner brake pads.

My question is: When I was on HMS Motorsports website and looking at the lines I wanted, it said that you can not use these lines if you have a Koni suspension!! It did not give a reason why, just said you couldn't do it. Do any of you all know why? I was planning on upgrading the suspension as well sometime in the future. Can you recommend an appropriate upgrade for me? I basically just drive the car around town, never at the track or anything.

Thanks!

Shocks aren't going to make a difference between the koni and boge. I have used goodrich S/S lines without any problems. They just don't come with the rubber donut that goes around the line, then slips into the shock housing. I usually just cut the old one off with a razor blade and one slit, remove it, install it on the new line, and clip into the shock.
