i want to swap out my 1985.5 944 head for a 968 head. i have a few questions i hope anyone can answer. is it good to swap out the 8v for a 16v. how hard is it to swap the 968 head into the car? are there any stories where people have done this swap and how long/costly is it? i am just wondering the basics as i am planning to modify my porsche in a few months and i don't want anything toocostly ifit is not worth it.it's a 1985.5, 2.5L, N/A. thanks in advance

 

Save our money, Just to mension a few problems..... The pistons would have to be changed out because the valves would hit the 8V pistons, The water jacket passages in the front of the head are not the same. The list goes on, so save your money and your time.
