Value estimate?
Hello,
I own a champaign 1985 944. It's in great condition and only has around 130,000 miles. 2 owners (my aunt--a little old lady) and myself. However, a few things are wrong with it:
1. Leaving it on the street (my only option as my apartment does not have a carport or garage for me) has resulted in 2 punctured left tires.
2. The front bumper is pushed in (a quarter inch)
3. the dashboard is cracked due to old age and sun (I'm assuming). The car came with it when it was given to me.
4. One of belts has started to squeal and now the engine misfires when I leave it on for too long. I don't know if its the timing belt or not, but I fear the worst.
other than that, it's in great condition
Given that the car was a gift, the only estimate its value I have been given was from an insurance agent that valued it at $4500 when it was in working condition. However, she may have low-balled the price given that she was representing the insurance company of the person who rear-ened me (at about 5/10 miles an hour--just a little nudge--barely noticable damage).
I was wondering if anyone could give me an estimate on the car's value given its current condition (i.e. the tires and the timing belt). I'll attatch more pictures soon.

RE: Value estimate?
When were the timing belt and clutch done last? I would guess value is in the 2500 range depending on the maintenance history and interior condition, etc. No way will you ever get anywhere near 4500 for an NA with 130k miles. That is low mileage, mint condition 944 price.
