I have a 86 944 NA, and I need a new ecu. Does anyone know where to find these used or rebuilt pretty cheap. I posted about the ignition cutting out a while back and this is what is causing the trouble. Any help is appreciated.

 

You can get a used one from one of the many dismantlers. DC auto, 944 ecology, etc. Make sure the numbers on the ECU are the same as the one you are getting. They also pop up on ebay for $150 or so on occasion. Rebuild will run you about $600.
