I have a 2000 Boxter, purchased in 2003 from the original owner with 3500 miles. I now have close to 8,000 miles. The tires look fine, but they are 8 years old and I'm wondering if I should consider replacing them, and if so, with what?
Any suggestions?

If the tread is still fine, there are no flat spots or dry rotting, run them until you actually need replacements. I like the Michelin Pilots.
