Hello, I am new to the forum. I am contemplating getting a 2008 boxster (it's the only thing I can afford!) but my cousin who is a car stylist recommends that I facelift it to the 2012 model:
1. change front bumper
2. get the front bumper led lights
3. change rear lights
4. change rear bumper
5. change exhaust tips
This will be my first porsche and the reason I want it is because I like the original iconic look in the first place. I am often a purist but I wonder if I'm missing out certain details.
Question:

1. What is your expert opinion on the whole outlook of it? Does it really make much difference?

2. I realise that it's very much personal taste, but as a newbie, I wonder what is the opinion of others about this refashioning issue.

Please help. Any opinion is appreciated.
