Which Boxster S got beat by a black Taurus Friday night?
Disclaimer: I apologize in advance, because this will inevitibly be flamed... Sorry 'bout that...
Location & Time:
Dallas, Texas (Irving)
Beltline Road (between 635 & 190)
Friday March 11th, approx 8:30-9:00pm
I hit a stop light on Beltline and a black (may have been silver...can't remember) Boxster S lined up beside me. It was a male and his friend. I didn't figure he'd race, because most Boxster owners I've seen don't care to race. So, I pulled away from the light leisurely and noticed that he was going WOT. So I did the same. By mid 2nd gear it was all over. I had caught and started pulling past him. He shut it down. Well, his friend looked to be laughing a bit, so I didn't figure he'd want to run me again, right? Wrong... We get to another light and I pull away very slowly again as to not provoke yet another race. Maybe he didn't see the light turn or something, because I jumped out 1 car length ahead of him while definitely NOT trying to go quickly. So, I notice he goes WOT again and comes up past me. So, I followed suit and by mid 2nd gear I had caught and started to pass him once again. He shut it down and that was all she wrote.
Anyone have any idea who this was? Looked to be late 20s or early 30s, but I really couldn't tell, because it was so dark. Area wasn't too terribly well lit. Good race, though. Enjoyed it (by the way, a race does not necessarily reflect a car's actual performance, because it's completely dependant on the driver).

not flamming at all, I am sure it happened just as you said but, I dont think you should be so caught up in the moment because you got to 2nd gear with a porsche and therefore claim victory.
