I've had the Break Wear light on for a little while on my 2000 Boxster. While driving on the highway my rear breaks seezed up and drastically overheated which melted my pad sensors. When they cooled down they freed up and I was able to drive and break with them perfectly afterwards. Upon inspection I noticed the breaks were very warn but I'm not sure my they would have seezed and the parking break cable doesn't appear to be stuck. Hasanyone else had this problem?
