Howdy, recently bought a -97 Boxster which I am happy with so far.

When I turn the ignition on the instrument reads the motor oil sensor for me and tells me different stuff. Sometimes it's just above minimum, sometimes it's almost at maximum. I have checked the actual physical "oil stick" a few times and the level there seems unchanged (it's in the middle consistantly).

Just wondering if anyone knows why my indicator is giving me different signals. Is it common, anything to worry about?
