My battery is dead and I can't open the hood?

Hi everyone, the battery died on my 98 Boxster and the release lever will not open the hood. Does anyone know how to manually open the hood? Thanks.

You will either have to find the emergency release cable behind one of the front fenderwells, or use a reverse battery charger that plugs into the cig. lighter.
