Hello everyone,

Can you advice me what car is better (very important to me is reliability, performance, low maintenance). My favorite choices are:

Honda S2000

Porsche Boxster

Well the boxster isn't going to touch the honda in reliability and lower cost of ownership. Driving experience is going to be better in the Boxster. While the boxster can be a very reliable car, it sounds like you are on a budget, and won't be able to afford a catastrophic intermediate shaft failure or top failure if the boxster happens to have one.

 

Given you have a certain amount of $$, whatever that is, a good Honda S2000 at that price will be more reliable and lower cost to own than a good Boxster you can afford for that same amount of money.

You might also look at Sky and Solstice Turbos. They really do have great handling and with the turbos, quite a bit of kick. They have rather depressed prices right now (there are a few new ones still in stock at good prices, too, at roughly equal drive out price to a several year old Boster), and they are cheap to insure, repair, and service.
