Default Routine MAintenance

I'm considering a 99 or 2000 Boxster. I've heard that you have to pull the engine to do basic maintenNCE. . .PLUGS, ROTOR, ETC...iS THAT TRUE?

Uh pull the engine huh. Lol, where did you get that crazy idea? There is no rotor, it has coil packs. Plugs take about an hour at most. Last time I did plugs it took 30 minutes. I haven't had to drop the engine out of any boxster for any maintenance yet, other than to replace the damn motor.

Thanks...you hear all sorts of stuff from people who don't know. I'm really thinking seriously about a Boxster. I have an88 Mercedes 560 SL but it's getting so it spends a lot of time in the shop.
