RE: Techart GT
It is a nice car in some ways, and certainly fast.
Personally I have never liked such extreme cars, even going back to theFerrari street P3/4s of the 70s. The three or four I've driven over the years (P3/4, Alfa Montreal Extreme, Lambo Contach S Special, Ferrari F50, Panoz) have all been the same: great looking but with disappointing build details (large gaps between panels or pop rivets, etc, showing in out of the way places; they all feel light and a bit tinny and the NVH is not really dialed in well; the engine is usually very powerful with great sound, but not smooth and well behaved under all conditions, etc. -- and ergonomics, if they have any, are an afterthought. Bascially I view them as four-wheel crotch rockets-- you simply can't live with them on a day to day basis as a daily driver.
Cars like these are the automotive equivalent of theleggy, bosumy babes you see on the covers of men's magazines -- they have the curves and e equipment and they make the looks and the sounds to generate fantasies, they are extremely annoying to be around for any length of time.
