How Do You Permanently Shut Off That Damn Bell?
Hi,
I have a 2004 Cayenne S. How do you turn off that damn bell that keeps dinging? It's the onewhen you don't have your seatbelt on, or if your door is open and the car is on, and so on and so forth. It's just too annoying! I know I'm not the only one who hates this. What were they thinking anyway when they made this vehicle. Anyways I want it permanently disconnected. How do you do that?

The only way to turn it off is with the Porsche PIWIS computer. You can probably ask your dealer to turn it off, weather or not they will want to due to safety is anyone's guess.
