Default Cayman design flaw...

IMO, the problem with the Cayman design is that the behind is too curvy and too muscular. The hind hips above the rear tires are too tall, the "humps" are too over done. the width is of the rear is not much of a problem much like the height of those humps. they should smoothen them up make it more like the 911.

Look at the flow of the design from the side. everything smooth from the front until it goes to the behinds...then it bumps up and drops.

Same goes for the Boxsters.

My God!

Ifthe rear flank of theCayman and Boxsteris a "design flaw" then I am a great admirer of flawed design. The rear quarters of these cars are among the most graceful and beautiful of any sports car on the road.Just look at therear quarter viewof theCayman on the home page of my site,http://www.porscheophile.com, and tell me that is ugly.

what kind of car do you own? I dissagree completely with you on the design of the Cayman .I must get 2 to 5 people everydaythat comment on my car and ask what kind of car it is or that it is simply beautifull.

I'm a huge fan of the Cayman design, but then I think Jags (pre-ford bastardization/XF) are good looking cars too so my opinion may not count.
