Forum Suggestions
We need a kill forum. For peoples race stories both on and off the track. We also need a show room forum so people can show off there rides. Maybe also a how to forum where people can post pictures and step by step up dates of projects they are doing.

RE: Forum Suggestions
I'd like a maintenance and service section. I search for maintenance and find several word uses...
However, I'm surprised that I can find a lot of comments about costs, suggestions etc.
I'm looking to take my 99 911 C4 for a 30,000 mile service checkup. I've got the owner's books with the maintenance manual, etc.
One Porsche dealership told me it was about $859.00. Hmm?
Like it's a few spark plugs, an oil change, a new oil filter, an air filter, what else?
I assume they really do check all the items listed in the book. All the fluids, breaks, steering,
break hoses, lines, estimate life on the break pads, etc.
Maybe even adjust the parking break if needed and have a cute girlserve me a strong bourbon and coke
to help me write the check.
The same on a new VW Bug is about $60. Am I just an idiot missing the top secret Porsche extra special stuff?
It seems to me I ought to be able to get one of several shops to check all this stuff for me at about half that price?
Don't get me wrong. I'm not knocking a good mechanic for making a living. I respect that.
I think they should at least buy me a box of chocolates and some flowers before they bend me over.
