Unfortunately I am going to part with my 1984 944. I do not want to part with it but I think the time has come to.
My husband told me I have too many projects and need to get rid of some.
The car is an automatic. The car will crank but not start, I assume the fuel pump has gone bad and I do not have a battery for it. The previous owner lost the title and I never got around to getting a new one since it has been my project.
The body is in fair shape, there is minor rust on the drivers door sill, and two nickel size spots of surface rust on the drivers rear quarter.
The interior is in great shape, there is only one small old age rip on the drivers left shoulder bolster. I even still have the original spare tire that has never been used. I doubt it even saw sunlight until I looked at it.
The original rims are on the vehicle. Will need new tires as they are dry rotted.
The vehicle is red but it is faded as many red cars do from the 80's. The electronics work. Body is straight. Glass is all intact as are the mirrors.
Engine will need some work as it leaks oil.
The vehicle is located in southeastern Iowa.

This is not the route I wanted to go, I may sit on the vehicle a little longer and see if anyone is willing to save my baby.
