For this new seven-seat Prius+, recently arrived in the UK, Toyota has done a little more than simply expand on an existing five-seat version. The world’s first seven-seat full hybrid has lighter, more compact lithium ion batteries than the regular Prius, limiting the weight gain over the regular car to 80kg yet matching its two-mile electric-only range.
