Question about the latest PCM software & replacment speakers
Newbie here,
I just took delivery of a 2001 Carerra C2 Cab with nav and was wondering how to find out if I have the latest firmware update in my PCM unit. Also, my owners manual says that when a cellular phone is connected to the PCM, "PHONE" will be displayed on the screen when receiving or making calls. I'm pretty sure only 09 Porsche's have blue tooth capability but does anyone have any knowledge of this? Lastly, I have the what they call "hi-end" audio system with the 6 disc changer and amp in the trunk but it's not the Bose system. Do any of you have any reccomondations for direct (no mods required) replacment speakers that would have a significanly greater dynamic range than the factory ones? I appreciate your time and wisdom!
