Default a noob in car fixing..

This are my ideas why dad hasn't been using his Porsche 356, it's just stacked on the garage. I consulted a friend who knows something about car and this is what he told me.

I need to replace my Porsche alternator and I'm not paying attention that's why I haven't heard why. He started the car and the engine's still fine and working but the smoke that was emitted wasn't that good, we must changed the Porsche air filter. This are what I heard of him, the parts tht I remembered that needs to be replaced. And some external accessories, body paints and lights.

In the internal part, the Porsche antenna is one of the part that needs change, it can't get fixed frequencies and the floor mats and the seat covers. Almost all needs changes.

And also I need ideas and suggestions for I by myself can fix the stuff and I can have the car for myself. HELP!!

Well as per changing of the parts on your own then either do them in the presence of a mechanic so that he could check them to be properly placed and fixed in the car. If the expenses are very high in modification of car then you must go for only important ones that contribute to better performance of the vehicle.
