has anyone heard of some significant engine defects for the 2005 carrera? i'm currently contemplating a lawsuit with porsche because my engine blew out after 12k of driving.... i was told by someone at the dealer that porsche has known that the 2k5 carreras have had problems with a bolt in the engine but haven't done anything about it.

any info would be great...thanks

 

Nope, have heard of no problems. You 2005 is under warranty, right? So what is the problem?

 

My freind who had a 2006 C4 "S" had his engine fail also. I do not remember the root cause but it was a manufacturing defect and covered under his warranty. he dumped the car and bought a new vette Ugh
