Need a little advice...
I decided to take on the task of convincing my father that he needs a sports car. Since i'm posting here instead of a Bimmer forum, I think you can already figure out which car.
He's always been the type of guy to buy a car that's "good enough" and dream of cars that are better. The best car he's ever owned, he says, was his '79 Civic. The best car he's ever driven, he adds, was his brother's 912. I'm thinking now that he is 59, he should have a fun car.
What i'm curious about is reliability. He'd have to buy an older Porsche, used. I'm thinking a 944 or a 911, but my knowledge of Porsche models is not the best. His price range would probably be around 15k, max.
So, finally, the question - what Porsche model would be best for daily drivability?
Thanks for any and all input.
