Hello.. i'm shopping around for used Porsche (Boxster/Cayman)for about a month now. One thing i noticed is most of the listed used Porsche have low miles/year and i can understand since these are expensive cars, people may not use them as daily drives.

I wanted your expert opinions if that's the only reason or there could be technical reasons. I'm looking to buy a Porsche 4 to 5 years old (2008-2009) and with 30k-40k miles. certainly out of original warranty. Typically Japanese cars or even BMWs in that mile range are a safe bet. Not sure how's with Porsche?

will appreciate your inputs. Also would like to know what inspections should i perform while buying within that range (mostly i'll get it from a dealer)
