colder fan switch and quarks-insight apreciated
hello all
vey happy here with my recently aquired 87 n/a 944 in "lemongleb" yellow.
just had rear axles done and a colder fan switch thrown in as my orig. had failed.
my buddy said hed never seen a 944 that ran too cold so i thought why not.
no sooner than that night i read on 9xauto-"DO NOT INSTALL A COLD FAN SWITCH"
are there any known issues with these switches the operating temps are 85/93c.
also ive read that if the black paint is gone from the bottom of the brake booster this could indicate a
problem-what could have caused this(other than fluid overflowing when i changed the brake pads)
what does this typically indicate?
the yellow paint is faded heavilly from the passanger door back...
i would let it go but it looks two-tone on that side of the car, what can i do to put a little life back in the paint?
thats it off the top of my head... thanks
b.t.w. im getting rid of my 87 924s red w/ blk interior 2.7l swaped in from 89 944 needs tlc asking 1500
