Just replaced a broken power window regulator and re-assembled the door. The window lifts when the switch is pressed, but it doesn't lift consistently. Must keep pressing the button to make it move upwards a slight bit each time and it won't continue to rise if the button is held down. Does anyone know how to get the window to go back to functioning correctly? Thanks!

 

After you ensure everything is correct mechanically and should work properly, you might take a look at your switches. Might be a long shot but... Swap out the questionable one with one you know works. I've brought a couple of switches back to life by taking them apart...CAREFULLY... and cleaning up the contacts with contact cleaner and a brush.
