Default Tire Size?

I have been looking for a set of rims for my 2000 911 and the question I have is tire size. I see everything from the 315-25 to 275 to 295-30 on the rear. Will they all fit on my car? Why do people run the 275 instead of the 315? If I can I am going to run the 315-25-19 on my car. What is the maximum width on the rear for rims? I see 11's but will they fit my car? Are turbo wheels different then non turbos? I don't want to buy something and then get it and it does not fit. I see that 235-35-19 must be about you only choice for the front. The rear though I see is different. The last question I have is about tires. I have Pirelli's on right now and they are the loudest tire I have ever heard. They drive me absolutely nuts! My mustang has BFG's and my BMW has Continental and I love both of them. I thank you in advance for any help. It would be greatly appreciated. Mike
