Default wheels

I just bought a 1984 911 and of course am very excited.

It has BBS aftermarket rims... that are gold. I am not to keen on the look and would much rather have something much more plain or stock.

Can someone tell me about aftermarket rims for an '84 911? Would these gold wheels have cost more? Can I get anything decent for them on ebay or elsewhere? Would I be able to get black or silver wheels for around $500 a set?

I did see some Fuchs replica wheels on ebay for around $500. DOes anyone know about these?

I am not interested in serious competition driving.

You can put on 911 fuchs for around 500. Your gold BBS' are true to the car, and it is a very euro look. Some guys like them, some don't. They won't bring a lot of money, but you can probably offset the cost of fuchs or something else a little.
