'84 928 Misfires when fuel below half-tank

'84 928 Misfires when fuel below half-tank

My 928 often "bucks and snorts" when the car runsfor a long span withthe fuel below a half of a tank. Previous owners states could be fuel pump or filter. Any help out there?

I would start with the filter first, and also check to make sure your primary and secondary fuel pumps are both running.

Thanks for the prompt response! Is the secondary pump located within the fuel tank? My car is a Euro version, fyi.
