When was the car last serviced? Might try a new airfilter. Check Plugs and Cylinder Compressions. Check ignition system.

Yea that is bad. I can romp on my turbo and still make 17-18. I would change fuel filter, air filter, check your tire pressure, etc. Are there any modifications to the car? Does it have aftermarket chips in the ECU? If it were running a larger turbo, bigger injectors, etc then expect lesser mpg.

Should be high 20's on the interstate, and around 18-20 around town depending on how you drive.

Another thought what grade fuel do you run on. I find the higher grades give me much better gas miileage. Regards Big Bob
